Group, User and Roles

iRedistrict Online supports group users. Each group account could have one administrator, unlimited number of standard users and unlimited number of limited users. Different user roles have different permissions.

Administrator has access to all features.

Standard users cannot manage the group users and cannot upload/delete data in the group account.

Limited users cannot manager the group users, cannot manage the data in the group account, and cannot run redistricting optimization. Limited users can load the redistricting data, load the redistricting plan from the group gallery, edit the redistricting plan, view the report, vote and comment on the plans.

Add users to your group

On the upper right corner of the screen, click the user name (email) and go to the account page.

If your account is a multi-user account, the administrator can add other users to this group by typing their account email on the account-group page. All users must sign up at http://www.zillioninfo.com before they can be added.

Another way is to invite users to join this group. The administrator creates the invitation code in the Account-Group Page and send it to other users.

Other users type the invitation code and the group administrator's account email to join the group.

After other users apply the invitation code to join this group. The administer could see the application on the account-group page. The administrator agrees or disagrees the application.

If the administrator agrees with the application, this user will be added to the group as a limited user. The administrator can upgrade it to the standard user if necessary.
